The road ahead will seem terrifying at times, and as much as this may seem counterintuitive, may you find peace today knowing that failure is part of the journey. If you are unwilling to fail, then you are unwilling to succeed. Breathe and remember that failure is a temporary experience, and will give you important information not only about what needs to be done differently, but also about yourself.
Acknowledge your flaws, insecurities, and humanness. Have compassion for yourself. Be okay with these things and be willing to improve upon the things you can. All you really have to do in order to be happy and successful is work on yourself.
Life is only going to get better from here on out if you are willing to accept failure and commit to a lifelong journey of improving yourself. Wherever you are at and whatever difficulties you are facing are temporary. Life is a process of learning and knowing, understanding and experiencing. A bad day is not a bad life; the bad days are necessary for the learning, knowing, understanding and experiencing. If life was perfectly amazing, inspiring, and easy all the time, we’d be standing still. The bad days will keep coming, and this is a good thing. We will simply learn new ways to cope and continue moving forward, with an appreciation for the good days.
Pain is part of the process. Growing pains remind us that we are growing. At the end of the day, week, month, year… be grateful for the things you learned based on failure and pain. The more you accept this as a part of life, and the more difficulty you can tolerate, the further you will get in life and the more settled you will feel inside. Get comfortable with being uncomfortable and you will find peace.
